Rupert is now nearly 15 and he has requested retirement from his role of Ring Bearer. it has been difficult during lockdown to perform his treasured role and now his hearing is a bit challenging. “Who bears the rings?” was met by him running up to the back row of the congregation and fetching them back, usually tied with a ribbon or in a favours bag. He will continue to delight couples when they come to Celebrate People HQ for their wee run through. His sister Freeda, the beautiful weimeraner, is aspiring to take his place.
