3 words that describe me: (I can never sum anything up in 3 words especially myself lol!) 3 words that hopefully give a sense of me are – Family, Stories and Making Memories (still more than 3 sorry!!)
I have worked in the NHS for 35 years. As a Nurse, I have had the privilege of windows into the lives of others when they may be at their most vulnerable. The power of connection, humanity and love is what enables us to support and hold each other whether we are experiencing sorrow or indeed moments of joy and happiness.
Meeting people from all walks of life, I have always loved hearing and sharing in their stories. You are never short of a good story in the west of Scotland!
Never being one for a grand plan in life, I have always followed my heart and grasped opportunities that felt right. It is an honour to be part of Celebrate People as a Humanist Celebrant and know that I can continue to support others with person centred and compassionate care and love.
My passions are reading, story writing, travelling, live music and generally any excuse to have a great time with family and friends.
I really believe we should cherish and celebrate all the important moments in our lives. Whether we are celebrating our love for others, new additions to our families or saying farewell to a loved one, it is an opportunity to create unique shared experiences and tell our stories with those we care about most.
As your Celebrant it will be my privilege to help you create your unique ceremony that celebrates life, love and that special moment, help to tell your story and make memories that will last a lifetime.
Based in East Dunbartonshire, I am happy to travel and enjoy our beautiful scenery pretty much anywhere in Scotland.

I had the honour to be part of my sisters wedding as her maid of honour & the lovely pam was the one to marry my sister & her now husband.
The ceremony was so lovely & personal. Pam made sure to make it all about not only just my sister & her husband but very much included their beautiful little girl. It was all about love, family & friends. Thank you so much Pam ❤️ highly recommend ❤️
It was lovely to meet Pam at the wedding, we really enjoyed how relaxed she made everyone feel, her service was so lovely unique to Jo & Paul and all the guests, we went on to meet her at dinner table, such a lovely lady, I’m sure she has a great future doing what she does best, putting people at ease. Well done Pam. Xx
I was Pam’s first wedding and you would have never have known she was amazing start to finish, so many people commented on how great the ceremony was.
Professional , funny , romantic and personal to my family it was just the best part of the day for me . Highly recommend Pam you will not be disappointed.
Pam was an absolute gem as the celebrant at our wedding! From the very first meeting, she made us feel comfortable and understood exactly what we wanted. Pam took the time to get to know us, which resulted in a ceremony that was so special and personalised to our story.
We requested a mix of humor and heartfelt moments, and Pam delivered flawlessly. Her witty anecdotes had our guests laughing, and her touching words beautifully conveyed what we mean to each other. Pam’s warmth and charisma made our day even more memorable.
If you’re looking for a celebrant who will go above and beyond to make your ceremony unique and unforgettable, Pam is the one. We can’t thank her enough for making our wedding day truly magical!
From the very first meeting with Pam we knew that she was the perfect choice of Celebrant for my husband’s funeral, and that we were in safe hands.
She was very caring and compassionate and made our family feel so at ease.
I can’t thank Pam enough for the way that she conducted the service; the eulogy she delivered was just perfect with the right balance of solemnity, humour, comfort & love. With many friends & family commenting on Pam’s empathy and delivery, and how the eulogy was “just right”.
