Hello, I’m Frances, a celebrant based in Glasgow offering heartfelt wedding ceremonies, funerals, celebrations of life, and naming ceremonies across Glasgow, Cumbernauld, Stirling, Fife and Perth.
I’ve spent my career working in health and wellbeing, and I bring that same care and compassion to every ceremony I lead. Whether you’re planning a wedding in Glasgow, saying goodbye to a loved one in Stirling, or welcoming a new family member in Perth, I’m here to create a ceremony that truly reflects your story.
My Story
I have two wonderful grown-up children and couldn’t be where I am without them and my husband supporting me all the way.
In 2022, I founded a charity after volunteering in my community since 2018 to develop a community hub—a safe, welcoming space to share a cuppa and a blether. When Covid hit, our community rallied together. Over 15 months, we provided 36,000 cooked meals and 15,000 food parcels to those in need. This became the catalyst for expanding into a registered charity, now based in Cumbernauld Town Centre, where I work part-time as charity manager. I’m incredibly proud of what we’ve achieved together.
My free time is spent outdoors—by the sea, on forest walks, and teaching QiGong. Being at one with nature restores me and inspires the calm, grounded presence I bring to every ceremony.
Being a Celebrate People Celebrant is, to me, a beautiful way to share my experience with others—whether you’re starting your journey together as a married couple or gathering to honour the life of someone you’ll always hold close to your heart.

Mix together with as much laughter as you can. Add in the spice as and when required. Remember to check the flavour and temperature throughout—we may need to adjust both along the way.
