Hello, I’m Frances, I’ve worked in many areas of health and wellbeing throughout my life and have a love of cooking.
I have two wonderful grown up adults and couldn’t be where I am without them and my husband supporting me all the way.
I founded a charity in 2022 after working as a volunteer in my community since 2018 to develop a community hub. A safe and happy space where we can all meet up, swap clothes and recipes ideas, and just feel there is someone out there for us all to have a blether over a cuppa.
Covid hit as we know, and we as a community kicked in big time to ensure those isolating, vulnerable and the elderly were being supported during this time. Fast forward 15 months and as a community cook, we provided 36 thousand cooked meals and 15 thousand food parcels. This was the catalyst to expanding our community into a Charity where we now work tirelessly within a large unit in Cumbernauld Town centre. I am Part time charity manager now and extremely proud of what myself and our community have achieved.
My free time is spent, outdoors, with the sea, forest walks, teaching my QiGong, and being at one with nature.
Being a Celebrate People Celebrant is to me, a beautiful way to pass on my experience to others: those who are starting their journey together as a married couple or to mark and honour the life of someone we will also hold close to our hearts.
My favourite recipe for a happy relationship is:
Two hearts
Hand full each of love and kindness
Bucket full of talking
Mix this all together with as much laughter, add in the spice, as and when required.
Remember to check flavour and temperature throughout, as we may need to adjust both as required.
