Being a celebrant with Celebrate People means I can be there for people when it matters so much to have someone to offer understanding and empathy and the skills to celebrate their life with you.
For me this work is all about real people and getting the true essence and character of your loved one and celebrate and remember their life in the way that means most to you. I have empathy, kindness and love at the core of my beliefs and respect people’s beliefs and faiths.
My husband Ian and I have a small cleaning business that we started in 2004. Through that we meet so many people and support people when they need us. I have three children, Rachael who is 14 and my twins of 13 Sarah and Christopher.
I have been a Rugby coach and referee over the years.
I feel very privileged to be part of the Celebrate People family and want to be there for you and share what is important to all of us – my celebrant skills, kindness, empathy, equality and compassion.

Reviews
Lyeona was the celebrant at my uncle’s cremation and she was the perfect choice for us. As a family it’s hard to know where to start when talking about a loved ones life but Lyeona’s caring and encouraging approach helped us uncover all the best stories we wanted to tell. She’s a natural listener and facilitator.
The service was delivered with exactly the right balance of reflection on the good times without ignoring the sadness we all felt.
We left feeling that the service was as lovely as it could have been given the circumstances.
Thank you again Lyeona.
Thanks once again Lyeona.
Mum passed very suddenly & it then unfolded that mum had asked Lyeona to carry out her service, the comfort that brought to us as a family was immense. Lyeona met with my brother & I to go over mum’s service & Lyeona was also able to tell us the stories mum had shared with her. It was a beautiful, beautiful service & we could not have asked for better or a more fitting send of for our beautiful mum.
Lyeona has certainly been a blessing in our lives.
Thank you Lyeona
